United Way of Wexford-Missaukee Counties announces the availability of funding applications for the 2012-13 fiscal year to begin April 1, 2012. All applications are due to the United Way Office by Noon on Friday, February 3, 2012.
United Way staff and Community leaders for will review all programs for the following:
- Organizational documentation
- Alignment with Community Priorities (see Community Agenda)
- Financial stability and Program budget
- Effectiveness and Outcome measurements
All programs meeting United Way standards for the above criteria will be invited to a Panel Review in March to represent and defend funding requests. Recommendations from volunteers on the panels will be reviewed by the United Way Community Investments Committee and approved by the United Way Board of Directors.
